Hello friends today i am talking about The Phoenix Suns were back to their transition roots Tuesday,

defeating the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference semifinals

According to league history, Game 5 in a best-of-7 series is the most successful. This means that 80% of the times the winners advance to the next round.

After taking a 3-2 lead, the Suns are now 20-20 in Game 5s of the NBA Playoffs. They're also 10-2 in best-of-7 series.

The Suns have now redeemed themselves. They won Game 5 and are now leading the series 3-2 for the fourth time in five tries.

Devin Booker, the Suns' leading scorer, scored 28 points on 11-19 shooting by the end the third quarter.

Deandre Ayton had 20 points and 9 rebounds. Chris Paul scored 7 points, but was very influential with 10 assists. Cameron Johnson scored 14 points from the bench

They allowed Dallas to get only 9 assists and 16 turnovers. This is a ratio of 1:2 that is almost unbelievable, as well as 38/25/66 shooting splits.

The Mavericks had scored 20 threes in Game 4, and they made 39+ attempts in each of the four games. But, in Game 5, they only managed 32 threes, with just seven of them.

playing in Dallas was a completely different story. The Suns failed to be aggressive in Dallas in any of their games and were down by 10+ points in the fourth quarter each time.
